We will take a detailed medical and cosmetic history that will determine if it is safe and appropriate to treat you. Safety is our number one priority and, as medical professionals, we understand certain contraindications to treatments, so we need to ask you a few questions. Here we check that any requested injectable or skin treatments will be safe when considering your medical history.
We access your lovely face
This is where we examine your face to identify your concerns and point out the many positives! You may be concerned about specific things like wrinkles or small lips; you can point these out and we can discuss these areas in detail. We will also use our knowledge of facial anatomy to assess your face holistically. This ensures the most appropriate treatment areas are considered to align with your personal treatment goals. Your bespoke treatment plan
We then discuss your bespoke plan together. This includes discussing the pros and cons of the treatment we are recommending, as well as alternative treatments. Here you can ask us any questions you might have about the treatments we recommend and decide on what options suit you the best. The final choice is always yours.
The cost of the treatment will be also discussed with you
At The Academy Clinic you will not have a surprise bill to pay at the end of your appointment. We are very transparent in the way we explain our prices. All the costs for any additional treatments, such as extra mls of dermal filler, will be discussed with you before proceeding.
You do not have to have treatments
You will have the opportunity to discuss any doubts or queries about the treatments in a supportive environment. You will never be pressured to have treatment.
If you have a treatment
If you decide to go ahead with a treatment, we will ask you for your consent. This means you will need to sign a digital consent form, which will be discussed with you in detail. We will also take some before and after photographs for our confidential medical records.
