Profhilo® Structura is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment designed to address age-related changes in the deeper layers of the skin, particularly loss of volume and support around the cheeks and lower face.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo® Structura uses a heat-stabilised, water-based hyaluronic acid formulation to target the subcutaneous layer. It is designed to support the regeneration of this deeper tissue while stimulating collagen and elastin production.
As we age, changes to the subcutaneous fat layer can contribute to hollowing, reduced facial definition and sagging skin. Profhilo® Structura is designed to address these changes, helping restore a more supported and refreshed appearance while maintaining natural facial movement and expression.

Every Profhilo® Structura treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation where your practitioner assesses your facial anatomy, skin quality, areas of volume loss, medical history and treatment goals.
Unlike a traditional dermal filler treatment, Structura is designed to work within the deeper subcutaneous layer. Your practitioner will assess areas where age-related changes may have affected facial support and determine whether Structura is appropriate.
The treatment is administered using a cannula, with placement tailored to your individual facial anatomy and areas of concern. Your practitioner will explain the treatment process, expected results and recovery before proceeding.

Recovery, results & aftercare
Recovery
Temporary pressure, tenderness, swelling or lumpiness can occur following Profhilo® Structura. These effects are common following cannula treatment and usually settle within around 48 hours. Individual recovery times vary, and your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare advice following treatment.
Results
Results develop progressively as Profhilo® Structura works within the deeper layers of the skin. Improvements in facial support, volume, firmness and overall skin quality become more noticeable over the following weeks. A course of 2 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, is generally recommended for optimal results. Results can last for approximately 6 months, although this varies between patients. A maintenance treatment may be recommended at around 6 months, depending on your individual response and treatment goals.
Aftercare
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and excessive heat, including saunas and steam rooms, for 24 hours following treatment. Avoid unnecessary pressure or massage to the treated areas unless specifically advised by your practitioner. Temporary swelling, tenderness or lumpiness can occur following treatment. Follow the personalised aftercare advice provided by your practitioner while the treated areas settle.
