HydraNeedling
Pair deep hydration with microneedling for smoother, plumper and healthier-looking skin.
About the treatment
A personalised approach to HydraNeedling
HydraNeedling is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that combines three technologies in one multi-step protocol: Hydrafacial, medical-grade microneedling and red light therapy.
The treatment is designed to improve overall skin health by targeting concerns including congestion, dehydration, uneven texture, enlarged pores and early signs of ageing, while supporting natural collagen and elastin production.
The Hydrafacial step deeply cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin, helping to remove impurities and improve radiance. Medical-grade microneedling then creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, firmness and smoothness. Red light therapy is used afterwards to support skin recovery, calm inflammation and promote healing.
By combining these treatments, HydraNeedling delivers both immediate improvements in brightness and hydration, alongside progressive improvements in skin quality over time.
How we approach it
Every HydraNeedling treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation where your GOLD skin practitioner assesses your skin concerns, skin health, medical history and treatment goals.
Using this assessment, your practitioner will tailor the treatment protocol to your individual needs, considering factors such as skin sensitivity, texture concerns, hydration levels and signs of ageing.
By combining Hydrafacial, microneedling and red light therapy, we can target multiple aspects of skin health in one treatment while supporting safe, effective and natural-looking results.
Who it’s for
HydraNeedling may be suitable for adults looking to improve their overall skin health, hydration and texture without injectable treatments.
It is commonly chosen by patients concerned about dull or tired-looking skin, congestion, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines or early signs of ageing.
It can also be a great first step for patients who want a better understanding of their skin and are looking for a personalised treatment approach before considering other aesthetic treatments.

What to expect
Recovery, results & aftercare
Recovery
Following microneedling, the skin may appear red and feel warm, similar to mild sunburn. Some patients may experience mild swelling, sensitivity, dryness or flaking over the following days as the skin heals and regenerates. Most redness typically settles within 24-72 hours, although recovery time can vary depending on treatment intensity and individual skin response. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare advice, including recommendations on skincare, sun protection and when to resume active ingredients.
Results
You may notice an immediate improvement in skin brightness and texture following microneedling, with further improvements developing over the following weeks as collagen production increases. A course of 3-4 treatments are often recommended to achieve optimal results, with the number of sessions depending on your skin concerns and treatment goals. Results can continue to improve for several months as new collagen is formed. Maintenance sessions are recommended.
Aftercare
For the first 24 hours, avoid makeup, touching the skin, strenuous exercise, alcohol and heat exposure including saunas, steam rooms and hot showers. For 7 days following treatment, avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, BHAs and exfoliants. Use gentle, hydrating skincare to support skin recovery. For 4 weeks, avoid sunbeds, excessive sun exposure and advanced aesthetic treatments. Daily SPF 50 is essential to protect your skin and maintain results.
