Recovery
HArmonyCa® requires minimal downtime. Mild swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising can occur at the injection sites and usually settles within a few days.
Results
The hyaluronic acid component provides an immediate improvement in facial volume and contour. Over the following 8-12 weeks, calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates new collagen production, leading to progressively firmer, tighter and healthier-looking skin. Results typically last 6-12 months, although some patients may continue to see benefits long after this.
Aftercare
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and excessive heat, including saunas, steam rooms and hot baths, for 24 hours following treatment. Avoid applying pressure or massaging the treated areas unless specifically advised by your practitioner. Mild swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising can occur following treatment. Follow the personalised aftercare advice provided by your practitioner and contact the clinic if you have any concerns during your recovery. For 2 weeks, avoid further injectable or advanced skin treatments in the treated area. Protect your skin with SPF 50 and avoid excessive sun exposure while the skin heals.
