For ageing, sun-damaged skin, the TCA Peel is an ideal solution. An intense resurfacing treatment, these peels can achieve transformative results in a short time frame.
Depending on individual skin type and preference, the strength of the peel can be adjusted to suit your needs and goals, we have a selection of different peels from Obagi, Neostrata and Mesoestetic. TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) is a well-known peel ingredient used to improve fine lines, sun damage, acne scars, uneven pigmentation, and age spots. The peel ingredients work by directly stimulating the deeper layer of the skin as well as removing (via peeling) the damaged skin cells at the surface.
This intensive resurfacing treatment is ideal for achieving transformative results in a short timeframe and is most effective on pale and mature skin.
All treatments are subject to suitability. During your consultation at our Manchester or London clinic, our skin practitioners will thoroughly assess your skin before advising on the right treatment option for you. Please note that TCA Peels are not suitable for all skin types.

Aftercare
After treatment you may experience up to 7 days of significant peeling. Regular application of moisturiser and SPF 50 is required, and we recommend avoiding the application of make-up to the treatment area for 48 hours. Please also avoid using any exfoliants, including physical and chemical, as well as active ingredients (such as glycolic acid) BHAs (such as salicylic acid) and retinols for at least seven days. Fake tan should also be avoided for at least 14 days and sunny holidays are a no-go for at least 4 weeks after this treatment.
