Rejuvenate rough, photo-damaged skin with chemical exfoliation using an AHA peel. Thanks to the glycolic acid in the treatment, dead skin cells are loosened and removed. This prevents skin build-up that can cause the face to look dull and lacklustre.

The type of AHA acid used for your treatment will depend on your individual skin type, goals, and concerns. We have a selection of different peels from Obagi, Neostrata and Mesoestetic.

Repeat AHA treatments can increase skin thickness and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.This treatment is also effective for treating photo damage and acne, improving texture and superficial pigment issues.

Suitable for all skin types, the Mild AHA Peel does require some skin preparation to ensure a safe and effective treatment. We highly recommend an express glycolic facial or the regular use of low concentration glycolic home products prior to an AHA peel.

Aftercare

After treatment you may experience up to 2 days of dusty, mild peeling. Regular application of moisturiser and SPF 50 is required, and we recommend avoiding the application of make-up to the treatment area for 24 hours. Please also avoid using any exfoliants, including physical and chemical, as well as active ingredients (such as glycolic acid) BHAs (such as salicylic acid) and retinols for at least seven days. Fake tan should also be avoided for at least 14 days and sunny holidays are a no-go for at least 4 weeks after this treatment.
