WHO WILL BE TREATING YOU?

You will only ever be treated by a registered medical professional. All our trainees are doctors, dentists, nurses and clinical pharmacists, closely supervised by our aesthetics experts. You also have the choice to be treated by a senior trainer. To enable you to make the right decision on which treatment plan is most suitable for you, we have a selection of tiered pricing options, BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD and DEMO.

Bronze

When you opt for our BRONZE tier, your treatment will be carried out by qualified medical professionals — doctors, nurses, dentists, or clinical pharmacists — under the direct supervision of one of our expert trainers, ensuring safe, high-quality care.

Silver

Choosing our SILVER option means your treatment is carried out by one or two qualified medical professionals — doctors, nurses, dentists, or clinical pharmacists — under the direct supervision of one of our expert trainers, ensuring safe, high-quality care.

HOW LONG IS RECOVERY TIME FOR INJECTABLES
Each and every cosmetic model is different and unique. So, any aftercare advice is best given upon consultation. However, depending on the individual and treatment type, most cosmetic injectable treatments require very little recovery time. WILL I STILL LOOK LIKE ME

WILL THERE BE LOTS OF PEOPLE TREATING ME
No. For our anti-wrinkle and filler treatments there will be just one trainer or one trainee treating you during your appointment.
WHO WILL ADMINISTER THE TREATMENT
All treatments are performed by healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, nurses, clinical pharmacists) under the close supervision of our expert trainers. All trainees are qualified doctors, dentists or nurses that are answerable to a governing body such as the GMC, GDC, NMC or GPhC .

*The minimum age for cosmetic dermatology treatments is 18. All other treatments are restricted to those 21 and over.
CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE TREATMENT
Patients are welcome to have multiple treatments in our clinics, providing requested treatments are deemed suitable after consultation. There is no limit to the frequency of your visits either – providing all treatments are agreed as suitable following your one-to-one consultation.
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND ON THE DAY
During the consultation you will be given all of the information that you need and you are welcome to change your mind and decide to change or postpone the treatment.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS
The risks and benefits will be discussed with you prior to every treatment. All medical treatments have a small element of risk but you can be that our trainees work under the direct supervision of highly experienced practitioners and that we perform our treatments in the safest possible way. Bruising, and swelling can be normal and should subside within a couple days, any other side effects should be reported back to the clinic.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS
Aftercare information will be provided to you during your appointment and you can find out more information on our aftercare page here! You are welcome to attend for a check up if you have any questions or concerns about your treatment – we are open 6 days a week.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT
Please arrive for your appointment at least 10 minutes before so that the necessary paperwork can be completed. Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. The Academy Clinic will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs on time; however, should we need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance.
GUEST REGULATIONS
We kindly remind you that individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to accompany patients on the premises. If you intend to bring a companion, we ask that they remain outside the treatment room. Please note that only service dogs are allowed on the premises. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
TREATMENT ADVISORIES
If you are having a skin treatment we recommend avoiding makeup on the day of your appointment if possible. Refrain from using active skincare products or fake tan 7 days before the appointment, and avoid sunny holidays within 4 weeks before or after the skin appointment.
Before receiving injectable treatments, it is advised to refrain from using makeup on the day of your appointment. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid scheduling any important events for at least one week following the treatment. If undergoing filler injections, it is advisable to refrain from traveling abroad for a minimum of seven days post-treatment.

Our skin services include skin analysis, chemical peels, microneedling, skinboosters, Profhilo, Hydrafacial, and Polynucleotides.
